Formally known as the American Terra Cotta Tile and Ceramic Company, the Illinois-based Teco Pottery started in 1885 by William Day Gates. Teco, composed of the first two letters in Terra and Cotta, is known for its smooth, micro-crystalline matte glaze green pottery. Frank Lloyd Wright used Teco pottery as decorative accents in many of the houses he designed.
With groundbreaking shapes both architectural and organic, these high-quality reproductions maintain the integrity of the originals. Water tight with a satin finish glaze and contemporary style.
This unique Teco vase measures 4.25″ Tall and 5.5″ in diameter. Made of ceramic porcelain, the vase weighs about 1.25 pounds.
The Kiss vase is uniquely made with a bulbous broad base and a narrow tip opening for flower stalks. The shape of the vase and the peculiar opening gives the luscious impression of a ‘Kiss’. We offer the Kiss vase in both green and white color finish (sold separately).
