This set is Japanese designed and Made in a state of the art earthenware factory in China. Our traditionally crafted ceramic porcelains are made of the highest quality porcelain available and fired at a high temperature to maximize the strength of the porcelain, making them superior to other ceramics in the market. Our porcelains are more resistant to cracks, stains, and scratches. Our porcelain is food safe and contain no lead or cadmium.
They are dishwasher and microwave safe IF you remove the metal strainer and the wooden handle. DO NOT microwave the teapot with the metal strainer and wooden handle still attached to the pot.
