With an ever-changing world and warming climate, the amount of land suitable for coffee bean cultivation could be reduced by 50% by 2050. Hario is taking steps towards reducing our carbon footprint, one of these actions being our new line of paperless drippers, the BATON Series. With this new line of drippers, Hario has reduced the amount of plastic by about 50% by using natural materials like bamboo byproduct and spent coffee grounds that would otherwise be discarded.

Thisdripper is designed with a stainless steel mesh filter, no need for single use paper filters! The mesh allows some fine coffee particles into the brew giving the final cup a big texture and depth of flavor.
